When are we open?

We’re open Wednesday to Sunday every week between 10am-4pm until we close on 31st October. There is no need to book to visit the attraction.

We will then re-open for our Magical Christmas Carousel on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday from 5th November trout to 12th December.

COVID-19

We are asking all visitors to kindly wear a mask to help protect our staff and fellow visitors. It’s a personal choice, but one we hope you will help us with. You may also be asked to wear a mask when dancing to the Wurlitzer.

When are we closed?

We’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We will also be closed on 1st October and close for a short period on 31st October.

Our Collection

Our collection is wide ranging, take a look around at the stunning mechanical organs dating back to the 1800’s, the powerful and towering Showman’s Steam Engines and a collection of vintage cars, tractors, motorbikes and more classic vehicles. You can also see some vintage fairground rides which will take you back to years gone by.

Food and drink

Here at the museum we have a well stocked tea bar, providing sandwiches, cakes and lavish afternoon teas. Sit in the ballroom and be entertained by the vintage dance organs while you eat.

Funfair Rides

The vintage rides within the museum’s collection are restored and ready to ride. Tokens can be purchased from a machine in the museum at a cost of £1.00 per ride.

Accessibility

Level access is available to all the museum and there is plenty of room for accessibility scooters to move about freely. Feel free to park directly outside the museum if this will help with accessibility. Click here to view our full accessibility statement
