The ride was originally manufactured as a platform ride with wooden animal mounts and was generically known as a Noah's Ark. Under the ownership of Richard Millband, the ride has now been fully restored to its 1950's heyday with the original mounts under the name "20th Century Thriller" Noah's Ark. The Ark will be a permanent fixture and will be preserved for many years to come in the safe keeping of the Scarborough Fair Collection.
